A DRIVER that was killed in a crash on the A34 near Didcot has been named.

Garry Chadwick, 56, was driving a HGV near Milton Interchange on August 30 this year when the vehicle overturned across several lanes.

The married Dartford driver was pronounced dead at 9.46am after the air ambulance, police, and fire and rescue crews were all called to the single vehicle road traffic collision.

An inquest has been opened into Mr Chadwick’s death by senior coroner Darren Salter who told Oxford Coroner’s Court that the cause of death at post-mortem examination has been given as multiple injuries.

A full inquest into Mr Chadwick’s death is due to take place on Wednesday, March 8 next year at 2pm.
