AN Oxford boxing academy will be hosting its first home show of the season this weekend.

Oxford ABC will be holding the show on Sunday (November 20) at Cowley Workers Sports & Social Club from 12.30pm.

The show comes after the club secured four straight wins at an open show last month.

Oxford school boy Eshan Javed, 64kg, beat Frank Sheward from South Oxhey by a unanimous decision at Didcot ABC’s open show.

The club then secured a win by welterweight Dominic Morbey, who beat local rival, Brandon May, at Blackbird Ley's Show.  

Heavy-weight, Alex Williams then beat Peter Dobos, from Hanwell ABC as well as Cavan O’brien, from Camp Detox Boxing Club.

Tickets are available to pre-order by emailing info.omaa.co.uk or can be purchased at the door.
