We pay council tax, but do not have a decent bus service
SiIR, I live in Long Wittenham and I am devastated that our bus service is stopping. I myself use the bus to get to Didcot, as well as the elderly people who use the bus to Didcot on a regular basis.
Why are we not allowed a good bus service? Other villages have them. We pay a substantial amount of council tax and we have no shop and no way of getting out of the village to get to one.
We have just been left to deal with this and we were not even notified properly. What are we going to do?
This is unacceptable and a huge blow to us all.
