SIR, Re: Peacocke’s Pubs, I am totally in agreement with G. Alner’s letter (January 1). My family always avoid pubs and eateries where animals are allowed.
I had a dog for many years, but wouldn’t have dreamed of taking her to a pub or restaurant. I fail to see the relevance of Ms Peacocke’s dog in a restaurant/pub review where I would expect to read details of food on offer etc and not a report on the antics of her dog and other animals.
