Sir, Recently we received a note from the postman asking us to pick up a package from the main Post Office. This I did paying the handling fee of £1.53.
On opening the envelope, I discovered a letter from local Liberal candidate Ms Layla Moran telling me of her plans for the Lodge Hill interchange etc.
I phoned Ms Moran’s number and got a very polite young Liberal to whom I explained that his office was sending out canvassing letters without stamps. He said that he would reimburse the amount by post.
As a couple of weeks have now passed, I can only assume this is another broken promise from a political party.
I assume that the correspondence was an attempt to get our vote. If so, I would probably not vote for a party that seems unable to post a letter properly, let alone sort our major road interchanges.
