Sir, The Friends of Abingdon CAB have tirelessly supported the Citizens’ Advice Bureau. Only this month they have provided us with a new photocopier.
Alas, their numbers are diminishing and the workload is falling on a reducing number of shoulders. In fact they have almost reached the point where the organisation will close down.
Abingdon Citizens’ Advice Bureau is a charity, it receives no central government support and depends entirely on the help of our 35 fantastic volunteers and the financial help of local people and organisations.
