Sir, I would like to thank Rod Paddock for putting my thoughts into words in his letter in the November 19 edition of the Wallingford Herald.
By delaying plans by Morrisons to build at Hithercroft, we may see them now find a number of other reasons to abort the project, such as the opening of a discount store opposite Tesco and a well-advanced development of another site in Didcot by Aldi.
I do hope Mr Cotton has not driven Morrisons out of Wallingford by his actions. Many of us will be very disappointed if this is the case.
