Sir – As I am sure you will have seen in this paper recently, five Guides from the Wantage and Grove Districts were selected to go on international trips to Japan, India and San Francisco to represent the United Kingdom.
None of this would have been possible without the wonderful financial support of the people of Wantage and surrounding areas; whom I would personally like to thank.
The girls have all now returned and would like the opportunity to share with everyone their exciting experiences and to show you their memorabilia, so we are holding an international evening on Monday, September, 21, at Challow British Legion from 7.15pm till 8.45pm.
If you would like to come along and hear about their journeys you will be most welcome.
