Regret over hydro
Sir – I heartily disagree with Alan Bourne’s letter (November 18). If he is a young man, he’ll no doubt increasingly realise the folly of his thinking over the years ahead.
But I would like to congratulate all those responsible for the efforts to develop the Hydro scheme, which only regrettably terminated through reasons entirely beyond their control.
